What is the Affordable Care Act?
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), commonly referred to as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or Obamacare, was signed into law on March 23, 2010 by President Barack Obama and was amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act signed into law on March 30, 2010.
